Snowfall
Hundreds of thousands of particles that fall around you.
Snowfall was a quick, playful prototype for a much bigger Christmas project. It reads depth data from an Intel RealSense camera and lets people play with hundreds of thousands of snow-like particles, built in TouchDesigner.
Children loved it. The piece was planned for a huge surface in the main gallery at Cardinia Cultural Centre over Christmas 2021, alongside the centre’s other attractions.
